The KeyGo Gen 2 is a folding keyboard with an integrated 13-inch 4K ultrawide touchscreen that turns any mini PC or single-board computer into a portable workstation. The clamshell device features an RGB backlit QWERTY keyboard with a number pad and low-profile scissor-switch keys, while the IPS LCD display folds down flat over the keyboard when not in use. Two USB Type-C ports let you connect to Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, or iOS devices for use as both a keyboard and touch-capable external monitor. Because the display registers as a standard USB monitor and the keyboard and touchscreen use standard HID protocols, Linux support is driverless out of the box, making it a plug-and-play option for pairing with a Raspberry Pi, an Intel NUC running a homelab dashboard, or any headless Linux box that needs a quick portable console.
The Gen 2 model brings several upgrades over last year's original. The display jumps from 12.8 inches at 1920 x 720 to a full 13-inch 4K panel, still supporting 10-point multitouch, a 60 Hz refresh rate, and up to 300 nits of brightness. A rear-mounted speaker is a new addition, the key switches are 1 mm thinner, and USB Power Delivery support climbs from 15W to 65W. The 180-degree hinge lets you position the screen upright for comfortable viewing or fold it completely flat against a desk. The team is also working on adding screen brightness controls based on feedback from first-gen owners.
The aluminum-bodied KeyGo Gen 2 measures 32.5 x 14.3 x 1.9 cm (12.6 x 5.9 x 0.8 inches) and weighs 1 kg (2.2 lbs) when closed. Early bird pricing on Kickstarter starts at $279 (€257), with shipments expected to begin in May 2026.
