The iKKO MindOne Pro is a compact Android smartphone built around the premise of always-on global connectivity without a SIM card. Originally launched on Kickstarter, iKKO is now accepting late pledges ahead of deliveries beginning April 2026.
At 8.9 mm (0.35 inches) thin and 132 g (4.7 oz), the MindOne Pro runs a MediaTek MT8781 octa-core processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Its 90Hz AMOLED display runs at 1240x1080 resolution behind 9H sapphire glass. The single 50MP Sony 1/1.56" sensor features an f/1.88 aperture, optical image stabilization, and a 180-degree rotating mount that lets it function as both front and rear camera, with 1440p video at 30fps. A 2200mAh battery is rated for up to 16 hours of video playback, and the device carries an IP54 rating.
The defining feature is what iKKO calls dual-level built-in internet. A NovaLink system provides free AI-focused data in 60+ regions, powering on-device tools including real-time translation, voice notes, summaries, and an AI assistant running inside the custom iKKO AI OS layer alongside standard Android. A separate rechargeable vSIM system provides full-speed browsing and streaming across 140+ countries through a top-up model managed directly in device settings. A Nano SIM slot, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC round out connectivity.
iKKO has committed to releasing the kernel source under GPL v2 and plans to publish select hardware drivers alongside an unlocked base ROM package on GitHub, making the MindOne Pro an accessible target for custom ROM developers. The company also intends to release 3D models of the chassis so makers can design and print their own accessories beyond the official case lineup.
An optional Snap-in Case adds a QWERTY keyboard, Cirrus Logic CS43198 Hi-Fi DAC, 3.5mm headphone jack, and 500mAh supplemental battery via magnetic attachment. The MindOne Pro late pledge is priced at $430 (€390).
