Unihertz is showing off the Titan 2 Elite at MWC Barcelona this week, a smartphone that combines modern specs with a physical QWERTY keyboard reminiscent of the BlackBerry era. The company plans to launch a Kickstarter campaign for the device later in March 2026.
The Titan 2 Elite features a 4.3 inch (10.9 cm) AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate positioned above a physical keyboard with touch-sensitive keys. Users can press keys for tactile feedback or swipe across the keyboard surface to move a cursor or scroll through content. The phone will be available with either a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 or Dimensity 8400 processor, with the base model offering 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
The device includes a dual rear camera system with a 50 MP primary sensor and a 32 MP front-facing camera, along with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and programmable function key. Unihertz is offering the phone in black or copper-orange color options and promises Android 16 at launch with four major OS updates and security patches through 2031.
Compared to the original Unihertz Titan 2, the Elite model is smaller and lighter while featuring faster processors and a more premium design. The phone supports 5G connectivity and NFC, making it one of the few modern smartphones catering to users who prefer physical keyboards for productivity and communication.
