Oppo has unveiled the Reno 15c, the latest addition to its mid-range smartphone lineup, packing a substantial 6,500 mAh battery into a body that measures just 7.9 mm (0.31 inches) thick. The device achieves IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, making it one of the more rugged options in its price bracket.
The Reno 15c features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display running at 2,760 x 1,256 resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth, and 1,200 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood sits Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset built on TSMC's N4P process, paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The battery supports 80W fast charging, and the phone ships with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
The camera system includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50-megapixel 3.5x telephoto with OIS, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide covering 116 degrees. A 50-megapixel front camera handles selfies. The Reno 15c goes on sale in China starting 2025-12-19, priced at CNY 2,899 ($400/€380) for the 12 GB/256 GB configuration and CNY 3,199 ($450/€430) for 512 GB of storage. The device comes in College Blue, Aurora Blue, and Starlight Bow colorways, with availability in other markets still unconfirmed.
