Xiaomi has launched its Bluetooth tracker in Malaysia and Thailand, positioning it as a budget-friendly alternative to Apple's AirTag. Single units retail for MYR 79 ($20/€18) in Malaysia and THB 599 ($20/€18) in Thailand, though launch discounts have dropped prices to MYR 59 ($15/€14) and THB 429 ($14/€13) respectively.
Like Apple's offering, Xiaomi also sells the tracker in 4-pack bundles at MYR 299 ($77/€71) in Malaysia and THB 1,990 ($64/€59) in Thailand. With current promotional pricing of MYR 199 ($51/€47) and THB 1,490 ($48/€44), the Xiaomi Tag 4-pack costs over 50% less than Apple's second-generation AirTag 4-pack, which retails for $99 (€91).
The device marks Xiaomi's entry into the Bluetooth tracker market, competing directly with established players by offering similar functionality at significantly lower price points. The tracker uses Bluetooth technology to help users locate lost items through Xiaomi's device ecosystem.
