Xiaomi has announced the Book Pro 14, a slim laptop powered by Intel's new Panther Lake processors. The system can be configured with up to the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H, which features the Arc B390 integrated GPU. According to Xiaomi, this iGPU delivers gaming performance comparable to Nvidia's RTX 4050 Laptop GPU and can handle AAA games at over 60 FPS.
Linux users will find the Core Ultra X7 358H well-supported, with Phoronix testing confirming solid performance and power efficiency on Ubuntu 26.04 with Linux 6.19. The Arc B390 iGPU benefits from Intel's upstream open-source graphics driver stack, with Mesa 26.1 providing full hardware enablement. Community testing shows the B390 matching or outperforming AMD's Radeon 890M in gaming workloads on Linux, marking a notable shift for Intel's integrated graphics driver maturity.
Despite its thin design, the Book Pro 14 is designed to sustain 50W of performance on battery power alone. Xiaomi equipped the laptop with a 10,000 mm² vapor chamber cooling module with dual fans and three airflow channels for stable operation under heavy workloads. Early benchmark results from Weibo account Baiwen Technology show the Core Ultra X7 358H configuration scoring 124 points in single-core and 1,103 points in multi-core on Cinebench R24, with a 3DMark Time Spy score of 7,163.
The laptop's port selection includes one HDMI output, a 3.5mm headphone jack, one USB Type-A port, and two USB Type-C ports, with at least one supporting Thunderbolt. Xiaomi has not announced pricing yet, but the Book Pro 14 is expected to launch first in China before expanding to global markets.
