Samsung is bringing a touch of premium style to the budget smartphone market with the Galaxy F70e, a new addition to its India-focused F-series lineup. The phone features a leather-textured back panel, a rarity for Samsung devices at any price point, and comes in Limelight Green and Spotlight Blue colorways.

Under the hood, the Galaxy F70e runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable via microSD up to 2TB. The 17 cm (6.7-inch) LCD display offers HD+ resolution at 1600 x 720 pixels with a 120Hz refresh rate and 800 nits peak brightness. Camera duties are handled by a 50MP primary sensor and 2MP depth camera on the back, with an 8MP shooter up front.

The standout spec here is battery life, with Samsung claiming its 6,000mAh cell can deliver up to two days of use between charges. The phone supports 25W wired charging, though you will need to supply your own charger. Other features include IP54 dust and water resistance, Bluetooth 5.4, dual-band WiFi, and support for 12 5G bands. The device launches with One UI 8 based on Android 16, and Samsung is promising an impressive six years of OS upgrades and security updates.

The Galaxy F70e will be available starting 2025-02-17 in India, priced at $145 (€133) for the 4GB model and $165 (€152) for the 6GB variant.
