OnePlus will unveil the OnePlus Pad Go 2 on 2025-12-17 in India, Europe, and the UK, marking the first update to its budget tablet line in over two years. The new device arrives alongside the OnePlus 15R and brings significant upgrades over its predecessor, most notably 5G connectivity replacing the original model's 4G modem.

The Pad Go 2 features a redesigned rear camera placement, moving from center to the top left corner similar to Apple's 11th generation iPad. OnePlus will offer the tablet in Purple and Black color options, with a flat frame design and speaker grilles on each side. The device includes 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, though OnePlus has not confirmed whether additional configurations will be available.

Unlike the original Pad Go which used MediaTek's Helio G99 processor, the Pad Go 2 will upgrade to either a MediaTek Dimensity or Qualcomm Snapdragon chip to enable 5G support. OnePlus has also confirmed compatibility with the OnePlus Stylo stylus, though the company has not mentioned whether an optional keyboard accessory will launch alongside the tablet.

Pricing and specific availability dates remain unannounced ahead of the December 17 launch event. OnePlus is accepting registrations through its website for launch notifications, with registered users eligible to win prizes including the Pad Go 2 itself.
