Minisforum has confirmed plans for the MS-03, a compact workstation mini-PC powered by Intel's latest Panther Lake architecture. The device will feature up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H processor running at 70 W TDP, significantly higher than the 25 W configuration Minisforum has tested so far. The 16-core chip combines 4 Performance cores, 8 Efficient cores, and 4 Low Power Efficient cores built on a 3 nm manufacturing process with boost clocks reaching 4.7 GHz.

The MS-03 replaces the MS-01 from December 2023, skipping a direct MS-02 successor to avoid confusion with the existing MS-02 Ultra. The new model retains the minimal black housing design of its predecessor, measuring 19.5 cm (7.7 inches) square and just 4.35 cm (1.7 inches) tall. The compact dimensions match the original MS-01 while packing considerably more processing power than the Core i5-12600H, Core i9-12900H, or Core i9-13900H options from the previous generation. Intel has upstreamed comprehensive Panther Lake support to the Linux kernel, including Xe3-LP integrated graphics and NPU 5 AI acceleration, though device-level support for the MS-03 will depend on bootloader configuration and vendor driver releases once the product ships.

Minisforum is building out an extensive Panther Lake lineup, with the MS-03 joining the upcoming M2 Pro that features the Core Ultra X9 388H processor. The company has not announced pricing or availability dates for the MS-03, though the device appears ready for launch based on the official teaser images.
