Lenovo has released an Arcade Dock accessory for its Legion Y700 gaming tablets that transforms the compact 8.8-inch (22.4 cm) devices into handheld arcade machines. The dock features eight function keys, a single joystick, and LS/DP/RS switches, giving the tablets physical controls reminiscent of classic arcade cabinets.
The Arcade Dock connects via USB Type-C and charges using Lenovo's standard power adapter that ships with Legion tablets. The dock can simultaneously charge a connected tablet while in use, ensuring extended gaming sessions without interruption.
The accessory is compatible with both the Legion Y700 Gen 4 and the recently launched Legion Y700 Gen 5, which features Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a 3K 165 Hz display, and up to 24 GB of RAM. The dock also works with the Legion Tab Gen 5, though it remains unclear whether Lenovo plans to offer these arcade accessories outside of China. The Legion Y700 Arcade Dock sells for CNY 399 ($58, €53) in three themed designs: Explosion, The King of Fighters '97, and Metal Slug 3.
