Lenovo has officially confirmed the next-generation Legion Y700 gaming tablet, revealing an impressive display and hinting at flagship-level performance in a compact form factor. The company has disclosed that the tablet will feature an 8.8-inch screen with a 3,040 x 1,904 resolution at 408ppi, delivering 800 nits of brightness and a smooth 165Hz refresh rate. The display also supports the DCI-P3 color gamut with 12-bit color depth, and carries TUV Rheinland certification for low blue light and flicker-free operation.

Leaks from tipster Digital Chat Station suggest the tablet will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the company's latest flagship processor built on a 3nm process. The chip brings a 20% faster CPU, 23% stronger GPU, and 37% improved NPU performance compared to its predecessor. Three memory configurations are reportedly planned: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 16GB RAM with 512GB storage, and a top-tier 24GB RAM with 1TB storage option.

The compact gaming tablet is said to pack a 9,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support while weighing approximately 360g (12.7 oz). Available in black and white colorways with RGB lighting around the rear camera, the Legion Y700 is expected to launch in China in March 2025.
