Hisense has launched the M7 MiniLED TV series in the US, offering 4K resolution and advanced display technology at entry-level pricing. The series is currently available in 50-inch and 55-inch models at Walmart for $278 (€256) and $298 (€274) respectively, with a 65-inch variant listed on the manufacturer's website but not yet available for purchase.
The M7 series features a 3,840 × 2,160 px resolution with a 60 Hz native refresh rate, AI-based 4K upscaling, and support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG. MiniLED backlighting provides improved contrast with deeper blacks and brighter highlights compared to traditional LED displays. The TV runs Google TV, providing access to streaming apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+, with support for Google Assistant voice commands and Google Cast screen sharing. Linux users can cast content directly via the Chrome browser or through open-source tools like Mkchromecast, while HDMI-CEC support enables control integration with Linux media centers through the kernel's built-in CEC subsystem.
Gaming features include Game Mode Plus with variable refresh rate (VRR), auto low latency mode (ALLM), and Hisense's Game Bar interface. The TV also includes AI motion smoothing for fast-paced content and sports. Connectivity options include four HDMI ports, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi, while an integrated speaker supports Dolby Atmos audio.
The M7 represents Hisense's entry-level MiniLED offering for 2026. For comparison, the 2025 Hisense E6 Hi-QLED model with Fire TV is currently priced at $238 (€219) for the 50-inch size.
