GMKtec has launched the NucBox K17 mini PC in China, a more affordable alternative to its K13 model. The K17 features the Intel Core Ultra 5 226V, an entry-level Lunar Lake processor with 8 cores (4 P-cores and 4 E-cores) and a max turbo frequency of 4.5 GHz. The chip includes the Arc 130V integrated graphics, which falls behind AMD's Radeon 780M in GPU performance according to benchmarks.
The system comes with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM with no higher memory configurations available, though storage can be expanded up to 1 TB in the pre-configured options. The K17 includes two M.2 slots supporting PCIe Gen 5 SSDs and features USB4 connectivity with eGPU support. GMKtec confirms three-display output capability through one USB4 port and two HDMI ports, along with five USB-A ports and Ethernet connectivity visible in promotional images.
The mini PC sports a CNC metal chassis in a compact form factor with dual-fan cooling and includes one-click deployment support for OpenClaw. Pre-orders in China start at CNY 3,799 ($551 or €507), with global availability yet to be announced.
