Bazzite, the Fedora-based gaming Linux distribution optimized for handheld PCs and desktops, has released unstable build 43.20260316.1 with InputPlumber integration. The new input management system provides unified handling for game controllers and other input devices across the distribution.

The update includes kernel 6.17.7, Mesa 26.0.2, and GNOME 49.5 alongside KDE Plasma 6.6.2. Nvidia driver support spans both the latest 595.45.04 release and the long-term support 580.95.05 version. The Deck images specifically gain InputPlumber 0.75.2 and libiio 0.26 for enhanced hardware support on Steam Deck and similar handheld gaming devices.

InputPlumber aims to streamline controller configuration and input device management across different gaming environments. Current Bazzite users can rebase to the unstable branch using the built-in bazzite-rollback-helper tool to access the new features.
