Xiaomi has begun teasing new smartphones in its Poco X series, with the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max expected to launch globally in the coming weeks. The company accidentally revealed European pricing through its Belgian website, showing the standard X8 Pro starting at $435 (€400) for the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model, while the X8 Pro Max starts at $577 (€530) for the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage configuration.

Both devices will feature powerful MediaTek chipsets, with the X8 Pro packing the Dimensity 8500 and the X8 Pro Max equipped with the more advanced Dimensity 9500s built on a 3nm process. The standout feature is battery capacity, with the X8 Pro sporting a 6,500 mAh cell and the X8 Pro Max pushing to an impressive 8,500 mAh. Both models support 100W wired charging to offset the larger capacities. The X8 Pro includes a 6.59 cm (16.7 inch) AMOLED display with 1268x2756 resolution at 120Hz, while the X8 Pro Max steps up to a 6.83 cm (17.3 inch) 1.5K OLED panel at 120Hz.

Camera specifications include a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, plus a 20MP front camera for selfies. The X8 Pro Max adds IP69K certification for maximum dust and water resistance, along with Wi-Fi 7 support. Both devices are expected to ship with Android 16 running under Xiaomi's HyperOS 3 interface. While Xiaomi has not confirmed an official launch date, the teaser campaign and leaked pricing suggest an announcement could arrive as early as March 2026.
