The upcoming OnePlus 15T has appeared in Geekbench 6.5 benchmarks, scoring 3,555 in single-core tests and 10,632 in multi-core tests. Those numbers put it marginally ahead of the current OnePlus 15 in single-core performance while matching its multi-core output within margin of error, but the real story is how it compares to its direct predecessor.
The OnePlus 15T outpaces last year's OnePlus 13T by 20% in both single-core and multi-core workloads, suggesting meaningful year-over-year improvements in processing power. For context, the OnePlus 15 scored 3,498 single-core and 10,645 multi-core, trailing the RedMagic 11 Pro by 6.5% and 8.5% respectively in those same tests.
The 15T's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform represents a notable shift for Linux users, with Qualcomm submitting 20 upstream kernel patches on the same day as the chipset announcement in September 2025. The 8,600 lines of device tree code cover hardware from CPUs to cameras, though the patches remain under review and not yet mainlined. OnePlus continues to offer bootloader unlock through its Deep Testing Program for those interested in running alternative software.
OnePlus is expected to launch the 15T later this month in China with a 7,500 mAh battery and a 6.32 cm (2.49 inch) AMOLED display. No details about international availability have been announced yet.
