MagicX has unveiled the core specifications for its upcoming Two Dream series handheld gaming consoles through the company's Discord server. The Two Dream Light will feature the MediaTek Helio G99 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, while the Two Dream Pro steps up with the Dimensity 7300 chip, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage.
Both models share a 4.5-inch display with 1440 x 1080 resolution and incorporate Hall Effect analog sticks and triggers. Additional features include gyroscope sensors, rumble motors, and built-in microphones. The Dimensity 7300 in the Pro model offers a notable performance advantage with its 4nm manufacturing process compared to the G99's 6nm design, featuring an Arm Mali-G615 GPU that delivers up to 20 percent higher frame rates than previous generation chips.
Pricing remains unconfirmed, but earlier teasers suggest the Two Dream Light will land at $69 to $79 ($64 to $73 EUR), while the Pro model could range from $115 to $145 ($106 to $133 EUR) depending on current component costs. MagicX has stated it will move away from pre-sales and release the devices when ready for immediate availability.
The Two Dream series joins a competitive field of budget handhelds in the $75 to $150 ($69 to $138 EUR) range, entering a market that already includes devices like the MANGMI Air X, TrimUI Smart Pro S, and the upcoming Anbernic RG Vita models. Release timing has not been announced, though the increasing flow of specification details suggests an imminent launch.
