Hisense has launched the C3 Smart Mini Projector 4K in Europe, starting with Germany. The projector first debuted in China in 2025 as the Vidda C3 and builds on the earlier C2 model from 2024. It features a tricolor laser light source delivering up to 2,500 ANSI lumens brightness and can throw 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160 px) images up to 7.6 m (300 inches) wide.
The C3 packs a 2,000:1 contrast ratio, 110% coverage of the BT.2020 color space, and support for IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Vision and HDR10+. For gaming, DLP Turbo Mode boosts the refresh rate to 240 Hz with less than 20 ms input lag. An integrated gimbal stand allows vertical projection angle adjustments up to 135°, while 1.0-1.3:1 optical zoom, automatic focus, obstacle avoidance and keystone correction simplify setup.
The projector runs Hisense's Vidaa U9 operating system with access to streaming platforms, voice commands and Apple AirPlay 2. Two built-in 10 W speakers support DTS Virtual:X, and connectivity includes HDMI 2.1 with eARC, a second HDMI 2.1 port and USB 3.0.
The Hisense C3 Smart Mini Projector 4K is currently available in Germany for €1,699 ($1,850). The company plans to expand availability to other European countries but has not announced specific release dates.
