LG Electronics has launched its 2026 G6 series OLED TVs with full specifications and pricing now available. The lineup includes 55-inch (140 cm), 65-inch (165 cm), 77-inch (196 cm), 83-inch (211 cm), and 97-inch (246 cm) models, featuring significant upgrades to panel technology and brightness performance. Most notably, the 55 to 83-inch models utilize LG Display's latest Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 WOLED panels for the first time, delivering up to 4500 nits peak brightness, which LG claims is 3.9 times brighter than their B6 model.

The G6 series maintains familiar core specifications including 3840 x 2160 4K resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium support, and 0.1ms response time. All models include four HDMI 2.1 ports (one with eARC), along with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and FILMMAKER MODE support. The new Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3 powers the lineup, offering what LG describes as 5.6 times greater AI neural processing, 50 percent faster operation, and 70 percent improved graphics compared to previous generations. The smart TV platform runs webOS 2026 with Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot integration.

For self-hosters and home automation enthusiasts, the G6 series maintains compatibility with existing open-source integrations. The webOS platform works with Home Assistant for self-hosted automation control, while multiple community-maintained Homebridge plugins enable HomeKit integration without cloud dependencies. The TVs support standard HDMI-CEC control, which webOS implements through an Apache-licensed service available in the webOS Open Source Edition project.

The 55 to 83-inch models feature LG's new Hyper Radiant Color technology branding, which encompasses the Tandem 2.0 panels, Brightness Booster Ultra, and a Reflection Free Premium coating that reduces reflectance to 0.3 percent. The 97-inch model uses different panel technology and does not include the Hyper Radiant Color features or the same peak brightness specifications.

The G6 series is available for pre-order in the United States starting at $2,500 (€2,148) for the 55-inch model, with the 65-inch at $3,400 (€2,920), 77-inch at $4,500 (€3,866), 83-inch at $6,500 (€5,584), and the massive 97-inch commanding $24,500 (€21,046). Shipping begins 2026-03-30 for most models, with the 83-inch arriving 2026-05-11 and the 97-inch on 2026-04-20.
