Bazzite, the Fedora-based Linux distribution optimized for gaming handhelds and desktops, has released unstable build 43.20260324.2 with updated core components. The release brings Linux kernel 6.19.8-200.ogc, Mesa 26.0.3 graphics drivers, and firmware dated 2026-03-09.
The gaming-focused distribution has updated its Gamescope Session component from build 20251109.df099b3-1 to 0~20260202git.b5c2d0d-2, while maintaining Gamescope compositor version 136.b6a368af-1. Desktop environment versions remain at Gnome 49.6-1 and KDE 6.6.3-1, with Nvidia driver options at version 595.45.04-4 for the open-source driver and 580.142-1 for the long-term support branch.
Additional updates include Sunshine game streaming server moving to version 2026.323.224448-1, cmake-filesystem updating to 3.31.11-1, and gamescope-session-steam advancing to 0~20260314git.d9412bf-2 for Steam Deck images. The Bazzite development team has also removed some no longer needed package lines as part of routine maintenance. Current users can update to this build using the bazzite-rollback-helper rebase command.
