Xiaomi has launched its Robot Vacuum S40 Pro across Europe, offering significant upgrades over the standard S40 model. The new vacuum delivers up to 15,000 Pa suction power compared to the S40's 10,000 Pa, along with an extending mechanical arm that reaches into corners with a rotating mop pad.

The S40 Pro features dual rotating mops spinning at 180 RPM with three adjustable water flow levels, plus an extending side brush to complement the central roller anti-tangle brush. It uses LDS laser navigation and structured light technology with a 129-degree wide angle for obstacle detection and avoidance. The mop pads automatically lift when carpet is detected, and the device can clean up to 180 m² (1,938 ft²) on a single charge.

Users can control the vacuum through the Xiaomi Home app to adjust maps and set cleaning schedules, with additional support for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands. The Robot Vacuum S40 Pro is available now priced at $325 (€300) in Spain, France, and Germany, with slightly lower pricing in the Netherlands at $304 (€279) and the UK at $327 (£260).
