Competitive FPS players just got a new reason to upgrade. Sony has announced the INZONE M10S II, a 68.6 cm (27-inch) WOLED gaming monitor built in collaboration with esports organization Fnatic that delivers a native 540Hz refresh rate at 2560x1440, or a staggering 720Hz when dropping to 720p via a dual-mode function. It uses LG Display's 4th generation Primary RGB Tandem WOLED panel, the same tech found in recent high-end monitors like the Asus ROG Swift PG27AQWP-W, and pairs it with a 0.02ms gray-to-gray response time and a 1.5 million:1 contrast ratio.

The spec sheet reads like a competitive gaming wishlist. The panel covers 99.5% of the DCI-P3 color space at 10-bit color depth, hits 1500 nits peak brightness for HDR10 and HLG content, and supports adaptive sync with VRR Anti-flicker technology, a first for Sony's OLED monitor lineup. New additions over the original M10S include Motion Blur Reduction, Dynamic Crosshair, Black Equaliser, and a frame rate counter. Sony has also added a 62.2 cm (24.5-inch) aspect ratio mode that runs at native 1080p, letting players toggle between the full 68.6 cm (27-inch) 1440p desktop and the official tournament-standard 62.2 cm (24.5-inch) 1080p format without swapping hardware.

Connectivity includes DisplayPort 2.1 at the UHBR 13.5 tier alongside two HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB Type-A ports, one USB Type-B, and a headphone jack. The stand offers tilt, height, and swivel adjustments, while a custom heatsink and OLED protection features aim to mitigate burn-in concerns over the monitor's 3-year warranty period. Sony's "Super Anti-Glare" coating, likely the standard LG Display matte finish for WOLED panels, replaces the glossy treatment for better performance in well-lit rooms.

The INZONE M10S II is available for pre-order now at $1,099.99 (€1,010) with shipments expected to begin on 2026-07-03.
