OnePlus has turned to Unisoc for the first time with the N6 Lite 4G, the most affordable entry in its budget N series. The phone runs the Unisoc T7250, a 12nm octa-core chipset pairing two Cortex-A75 and six Cortex-A55 cores with a Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. That is a notable departure for OnePlus, which has historically relied on Qualcomm and MediaTek silicon. For anyone hoping to flash custom ROMs or tinker with kernel sources, the choice matters: Unisoc has been upstreaming patches to mainline Linux for several of its chipsets, but community support and custom ROM ecosystems for Unisoc devices remain far thinner than what Qualcomm-based phones typically enjoy.
The N6 Lite 4G packs a 7,000mAh battery with 15W wired charging and 5W reverse charging, paired with a 17.1 cm (6.75-inch) HD+ LCD running at 120Hz with 900 nits peak brightness. Storage is fixed at 4GB LPDDR4X and 64GB UFS 2.2, though a microSD slot supports cards up to 2TB. Connectivity is limited to 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.2, and the phone retains a 3.5mm headphone jack. OnePlus also claims IP64 dust and splash resistance along with MIL-STD-810H durability certification. At 8.95mm thick and 215 g (7.6 oz), it sits on the heavier side but the battery capacity explains the bulk.
The OnePlus N6 Lite 4G launched on 2026-09-22 in India in a single 4GB/64GB configuration for $175 (€160), available in Neo Green and Midnight Hype colorways.
