OnePlus has officially confirmed key specifications for its upcoming Pad Go 2 tablet ahead of a global launch on 2025-12-17. The budget-friendly Android tablet represents a significant upgrade over its predecessor, featuring a larger 30.7 cm (12.1-inch) display with 2.8K resolution (2800 x 1980 pixels), a 120Hz refresh rate, and 900 nits of peak brightness. The screen boasts a 7:5 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision support and TÜV Rheinland eye care certification.
Powering the Pad Go 2 is MediaTek's Dimensity 7300-Ultra processor built on a 4nm process, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Notably, this marks OnePlus's first tablet to support 5G connectivity. The 10,050mAh battery represents a 25% increase over the original Pad Go's 8,000mAh cell, and OnePlus claims up to 15 hours of video playback. The tablet supports 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging and can reverse charge other devices via cable.
The Pad Go 2 also introduces stylus support to the affordable tablet lineup with the new Pad Go 2 Stylo, offering 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity. A 10-minute charge reportedly provides half a day of use. The tablet will run OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 and comes in Shadow Black and Lavender Drift colors. Sales begin 2025-12-18 alongside the OnePlus 15R smartphone launch.
