OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus 15T in China, positioning it as a compact flagship beneath the OnePlus 15. The 6.32-inch (16 cm) device features a 165 Hz OLED display manufactured by Tianma and runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Qualcomm posted upstream Linux kernel patches for the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 on the SoC's launch day, covering device tree support for CPU power management, interconnects, storage controllers, and peripheral buses, though display and GPU patches remain pending and the patches are not yet mainlined. The phone can be configured with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage, and includes OnePlus's SUPERVOOC S power chip alongside a G2 esports network chip for gaming performance.

The camera system carries over much from last year's OnePlus 13T, with a 50 MP main sensor measuring 1/1.56 inches and a 16 MP selfie camera. The telephoto setup sees an upgrade to a 3.5x periscope lens with optical image stabilization, improving on the 13T's 2x zoom. The phone notably omits an ultra-wide camera entirely. The 15T weighs 194 g (6.8 oz), measures 8.35 mm (0.33 inches) thick, and carries IP69K ingress protection ratings.

Power comes from a 7,500 mAh battery with 100 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging, plus support for bypass charging during gaming sessions. The OnePlus 15T starts at $625 (€575) for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage configuration, marking a significant increase over the 13T's launch price of $485 (€446). Higher configurations range up to $830 (€764) for the 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage model, though China's national subsidy reduces each variant by approximately $72 (€66). The phone is available in three colors: Relaxing Matcha, Pure Cocoa, and Healing White Chocolate.
