Minisforum V3 2-in-1 Tablet Debuts with Ryzen 7 Processor
MINISFORUM has officially launched the V3, a versatile 2-in-1 tablet, in China. The device features an AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor and a high-resolution 14-inch display, offering a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution at an impressive 165Hz refresh rate. This launch comes after the device’s initial announcement last fall. With a global release scheduled for late April 2024, the V3 is priced at approximately $960 for the top model in China.
The V3 distinguishes itself as a 3-in-1 device, capable of functioning as a tablet, a laptop through its detachable keyboard, and even as an external display for other devices thanks to its video input feature. This versatility is further enhanced by its specifications, including up to 32GB of LPDDR5-6400 memory and up to 2TB of M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 NVMe storage. Connectivity is robust, with two 40 Gbps USB4 ports and a VLink USB-C port for DisplayPort video input.
Under the hood, the V3 is powered by a 28-watt AMD processor featuring 8 Zen 4 CPU cores and Radeon 780M graphics with 12 RDNA 3 cores, complemented by a 16 TOPS AMD Ryzen AI NPU. This setup enables high performance and efficient handling of applications and games.
The tablet’s connectivity options include WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. It ships with a 65W USB-C power adapter for charging. Its magnesium alloy construction should make itdurable while maintaining a lightweight profile at 946 grams.
