The GMK Evo-X2 mini PC, powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, has officially launched for pre-order in the United States. This compact device features 16 CPU cores, 32 threads, and Radeon 8060S integrated graphics, alongside a neural processing unit (NPU) capable of delivering up to 50 TOPS of AI performance.

First introduced in March, the Evo-X2 is now accessible through GMK’s website and Amazon. The pricing begins at $1,400 for the model equipped with 64 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. A higher-end version, featuring 128 GB of RAM and a 2 TB SSD, is expected to retail for $1,800, although it is currently listed as unavailable.

Customers can take advantage of a promotional pricing structure valid until May 6. Starting May 7, the 64 GB model will increase to $1,500, while the 128 GB version will rise to $2,000.

For those opting to reserve through GMK’s website, a deposit option allows for discounted pricing. A $100 deposit on the 64 GB model reduces the total cost to $1,399, while a $200 deposit on the 128 GB model brings the total to $1,799.

Both models are equipped with the same Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, featuring a thermal design power (TDP) of 140 watts, providing enhanced performance capabilities compared to typical laptop configurations. The devices include LPDDR5X-8000 memory, which cannot be upgraded by the user, but supports up to 75% allocation for GPU use, allowing for up to 96 GB of dedicated video memory.

The Evo-X2 supports advanced AI functionalities, leveraging its integrated GPU and NPU for a total AI performance of up to 126 TOPS. This makes it suitable for applications requiring significant processing power, such as running large language models locally.

Additional features include an M.2 slot for user-replaceable PCIe 4.0 SSDs, a 230W power supply, and a MediaTek wireless card supporting WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The device boasts a variety of ports, including:
