The display pairs a Rapid VA panel with a dual-mode trick that should appeal to players who split their time between cinematic single-player games and twitchy competitive shooters.
At its native settings, the panel runs 3440 x 1440 across 86.4 cm (34 inches) at 200Hz with a 1500R curvature and a claimed 0.5 ms GtG response time. Flipping into the secondary mode drops the resolution to 1720 x 720 and doubles the refresh rate to 400Hz, trading pixel density for frame pacing in titles like CS2, Valorant, or sim racers where every millisecond of input latency matters. A dedicated console mode rounds out the gaming feature set with tuning for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
Color coverage lands at 95% DCI-P3 and 85% Adobe RGB, which is respectable for a VA panel at this size. The HDR Ready badge is more marketing than substance given the 300 nit peak brightness, so anyone chasing real high dynamic range performance is still better served by one of MSI's pricier QD-OLED ultrawides.
