Lenovo's ThinkPad T16g Gen 3 breaks from tradition by equipping its flagship mobile workstation with gaming GPUs instead of professional graphics. The 16-inch laptop can be configured with Intel's Core Ultra 9 285HX processor and NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5090, alongside up to 192 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and 12 TB of storage across three M.2 PCIe slots.

The workstation targets AI workflows with Intel's Neural Processing Unit delivering 13 trillion operations per second, reaching 36 TOPS of total AI capability when combined with CPU and GPU compute. Display options include a 3.2K Tandem OLED panel with variable refresh rates from 40 Hz to 120 Hz, and all screens come X-Rite calibrated with TÜV certification for low blue light. The T16g Gen 3 weighs approximately 2.6 kg (5.7 lbs), nearly 500 g (1.1 lbs) lighter than its predecessor.
