A startup hang that kept Akregator from launching on 64-bit ARM hardware is gone in the latest KDE Gear maintenance drop, a meaningful fix for anyone running the RSS reader on a Raspberry Pi or similar single-board system. The 26.04.2 release rolls up bugfixes and refreshed translations across the suite's 180-plus applications, libraries, and plugins.

Other targeted fixes include a ksanecore patch that stops Skanlite from crashing at startup, and a correction in Koko so that sending an image to the trash no longer hijacks the editor's delete action. Beyond those, the video editor Kdenlive picks up corrections for timeline clip insertion, audio quality handling during render ranges, and Windows shared drive path resolution, while stability work also touched the Dolphin file manager and the Neochat Matrix client.

26.04.2 is the second point release of the 26.04 series that shipped in April, and distribution maintainers are expected to push updated packages over the coming days. Source tarballs sit on the release info page, with the full changelog listing every commit that landed.
