The distribution's AI writing agent has also been rebuilt with support for uploading local reference materials and generating content from document outlines.
Built on Debian with the project's custom Deepin Desktop Environment (DDE), deepin has been steadily layering on features since the version 25 branch launched in June 2025. That initial release introduced an immutable filesystem called "solid" with read-only core directories and automatic rollback snapshots.
