Bazzite, the gaming-focused immutable Linux distribution built on Universal Blue, has pushed a new unstable image tagged unstable-43.20260403 with a substantial stack of component updates. The build advances the kernel to 6.19.10-ogc1.1 and bumps Mesa to 26.0.3, bringing the latest open-source graphics driver improvements alongside Nvidia Open driver 595.58.03 and Nvidia LTS 580.142 for those on proprietary drivers.
On the desktop side, GNOME reaches 49.6 and KDE Plasma moves to 6.6.3, with the blur-my-shell GNOME extension also receiving digest updates. Gaming-layer components see meaningful movement as well: Gamescope jumps to build 137.7c5ebe99, InputPlumber hits 0.75.2, OpenGamepadUI reaches 0.45.0, and PowerStation lands at 0.8.1. The SteamOS-Manager and Bazaar app store packages also received minor updates.
Several targeted fixes round out the release. A bug affecting Intel GPU users gets addressed with a corrected systemctl --user daemon-reload call when the intel-gtk-fix configuration is created or removed. The Sunshine game streaming integration received miscellaneous fixes following a switch to Homebrew-managed installation, and bazzite-cli now shows live progress output when brew bundle installs packages. The kmod-openrazer kernel module for Razer peripheral support also updated to a newer git snapshot.
Users already on the unstable channel can rebase to this specific image by running bazzite-rollback-helper rebase unstable-43.20260403 in a terminal, or simply bazzite-rollback-helper rebase unstable to track the latest unstable build going forward.
