The Bazzite team has pushed out stable release 44.20260501.1, a point update to the gaming-focused immutable Fedora variant that bumps the Linux kernel from 6.19.11 to 6.19.14, refreshes graphics stack components, and quietly introduces a new package for Framework laptop owners.

The headline change is the kernel jump to 6.19.14-ogc1, landed by maintainer Kyle Gospodnetich in commit b2ad326. Alongside the kernel, this build ships Mesa 26.0.5 for the userspace graphics drivers, Gamescope at version 137.7c5ebe99, and updated 20260410 firmware. NVIDIA users get current driver branches on both sides, with the open kernel modules at 595.71.05 and the LTS branch at 580.142.

Desktop environments move forward as well, with GNOME at 50.1 and KDE Plasma at 6.6.4. The Bazaar app store reaches 0.7.15. New in this image is framework-laptop-kmod-common (version 0.0.git.1477.f242674f-1), a kernel module package that targets hardware-specific functionality for Framework's modular laptops.
