Bazzite, the Fedora-based gaming-focused Linux distribution, released unstable build 43.20260331.1 on 2026-03-31 with updated components across its stack. The release bumps the Linux kernel from 6.19.8 to 6.19.10 and advances Gamescope, the micro-compositor used for Steam Deck-style gaming sessions, from build 136 to 137.

The update maintains Mesa 26.0.3 for graphics drivers and includes Nvidia driver updates with the open-source variant at version 595.58.03 and the long-term support branch at 580.142. Desktop environments stay at Gnome 49.6 and KDE Plasma 6.6.3, while gaming-specific components like InputPlumber 0.75.2, OpenGamepadUI 0.45.0, and PowerStation 0.8.1 remain unchanged from the previous unstable snapshot.

Current Bazzite users can rebase to the new unstable branch using the included bazzite-rollback-helper tool. The release includes several maintenance fixes, notably correcting the Bazaar configuration format and adjusting CI processes for image chunking.
