ASRock Industrial has announced the AI BOX-A395, a portable workstation-class mini PC built around AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor. The Strix Halo platform combines 16 Zen 5 cores with 32 threads, a 50 TOPS XDNA 2 NPU for AI inference, and a Radeon 8060S integrated GPU that performs on par with an Nvidia RTX 4070 laptop GPU. The system supports up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X-8000 RAM and features dual PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD slots configurable in RAID 0 or 1.

ASRock distinguishes the AI BOX-A395 with a stylish aluminum chassis measuring 20.0 cm x 10.0 cm x 23.2 cm (7.87 x 3.94 x 9.13 inches) and includes a carry handle for portability. Inside, a six-heatpipe cooling system with copper base and optimized airflow handles thermal management, while an internal power supply eliminates the need for external bricks. The system also features dual BIOS with redundant backup for enhanced security and stability, a configuration typically reserved for enterprise systems.

Connectivity includes two USB4 ports, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, and two USB 2.0 ports. Video output options span two HDMI 2.1 and three DisplayPort 2.1 connections, enabling multi-monitor setups. Networking capabilities include dual Ethernet with 2.5 Gbps and 10 Gbps speeds, plus Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 via an M.2 card.

While ASRock has not announced official pricing or availability, configurations with 128 GB RAM and 2 to 4 TB of NVMe storage are expected to cost around $4,000 (€3,680).
