UPERFECT Unveils Concept for Portable Monitor With Foldable OLED Display Expected to Launch in 2026

UPERFECT, a company known for its range of portable display solutions, has unveiled a concept for a new portable monitor called the UPERFECT Omega. This innovative device features a foldable OLED display, making it easier to transport without sacrificing screen size. The Omega is expected to debut in 2026 with an estimated starting price of around €2,000 (approximately $2,500 USD) for the larger model.
The Omega will be available in two variants: a 22-inch model that, when folded, reduces to a compact size similar to a 16-inch screen, and a 17.3-inch version that folds down to about the size of a 12.5-inch display. Both models boast impressive specifications, including high-resolution screens and advanced refresh rates.
The 22-inch variant is anticipated to feature a resolution of 2800 x 1800 pixels, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a brightness level of up to 500 nits, with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It measures 354 x 486 x 7 mm when unfolded and weighs 1.46 kg. The 17.3-inch model will have a resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels and a 4:3 aspect ratio, with dimensions of 312 x 400 x 7 mm and a weight of 780 grams.
Additionally, both models will include built-in stereo speakers, a magnetic bracket for support, and a variety of connection ports, including dual USB Type-C ports, a mini HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio output.
While the Omega is still in the concept stage, UPERFECT is currently accepting a €10 deposit for those interested in being among the first to purchase the device when it becomes available. The company aims to gauge market interest before moving forward with production.
