AYANEO Pocket ACE Handheld Gaming Console Launches on Indiegogo

The AYANEO Pocket ACE, a compact handheld gaming console, has officially launched on Indiegogo, offering gaming enthusiasts a new Android-powered option. This device features a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1620 x 1080 pixels and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 processor. The handheld comes with a minimum of 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

First announced in March, the Pocket ACE is now available for pre-order, with early bird pricing starting at approximately €340. However, potential buyers may find competition from other handhelds, such as the Steam Deck, which offers a full gaming PC experience for €399.

The Pocket ACE boasts several noteworthy specifications, including hall sensor joysticks, linear triggers, and a robust 6,000 mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging—though a charger is not included. It also features a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port for high-speed data transfer and a microSD card slot for additional storage.

Measuring 176 x 82.5 x 18.4 mm and weighing 310 grams, the Pocket ACE is considerably lighter and more portable than larger devices like the Steam Deck. Additional features include a six-axis gyroscope, a vibration motor, and support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3. It runs on Android 13 with AYASpace user interface and AYAHome launcher.

Early bird rewards range from €339 for an 8GB/128GB model to €599 for a 16GB/1TB Retro Power Edition. The expected retail prices will vary between €459 and €699, with several configurations available.
