Proxmox announced that NAKIVO is now offering native, agentless backup support for Proxmox Virtual Environment (VE) as an official solution provider. The partnership aims to provide enterprise-grade data protection for organizations using open-source virtualization infrastructure.
NAKIVO Backup & Replication delivers backup, instant recovery, ransomware protection, and disaster recovery for physical, virtual, cloud, SaaS, and hybrid environments through a single web-based interface. The integration allows Proxmox VE users to centrally manage protection tasks, maintain visibility across platforms, and quickly recover workloads during outages or ransomware incidents.
The integration is available immediately for all Proxmox VE users. NAKIVO CEO Bruce Talley described the integration as a response to community demand for reliable, enterprise-grade data protection that matches the flexibility of the Proxmox hypervisor. Proxmox COO Tim Marx emphasized that native integrations with solutions like NAKIVO give customers the flexibility to choose best-in-class tools while reinforcing Proxmox VE as a mature, enterprise-grade ecosystem.
