Bazzite, the gaming-focused Linux distribution built on Fedora Atomic, has released unstable build 43.20260331.2 with a kernel update and gaming improvements. The release brings Linux kernel 6.19.10-ogc1, updated from 6.19.8-200.ogc, alongside Gamescope build 137.7c5ebe99-1 for the compositor that powers its Steam Deck-like gaming mode.

The update maintains Mesa 26.0.3 for graphics drivers and includes GNOME 49.6 and KDE Plasma 6.6.3 desktop environments. Nvidia users get the latest open kernel modules at version 595.58.03 and LTS drivers at 580.142. The gaming interface components remain stable with OpenGamepadUI 0.45.0 and InputPlumber 0.75.2 for controller input handling.

Current Bazzite users can rebase to the unstable branch by running bazzite-rollback-helper rebase unstable in the terminal. This unstable channel receives more frequent updates than the stable builds, giving testers early access to kernel improvements and gaming stack refinements before they reach the main release channel.
