Bazzite, the gaming-focused Linux distribution built on Fedora Atomic, has released version 43.20260309.1 with updated kernel and desktop environment packages. The new stable release brings Linux kernel 6.17.7, Mesa 26.0.1 for graphics drivers, and firmware dated 2026-02-21.

Desktop environment options have been refreshed with GNOME 49.5 and KDE Plasma 6.6.2, while gaming-specific components include an updated Gamescope compositor (ba147-1.bazzite) and Bazaar 0.7.10 for game library management. Nvidia users receive driver version 595.45.04 on the current branch, with the long-term support branch at 580.95.05.

The release includes fixes for the Sunshine game streaming server, which now switches away from the sunshine-kms implementation. Users can update to the latest stable version by running the bazzite-rollback-helper rebase command from the terminal.
