AOC has finally launched the AGON Pro AGP277KX, a 27 inch (68.6 cm) Fast IPS gaming monitor that was first teased in December 2025. The monitor features a native 5120 x 2880 resolution with a 180Hz refresh rate, a slight improvement over the initially teased 165Hz specification. It also includes a dual-mode function that switches to 350Hz at 1440p resolution, up from the originally announced 330Hz.
The Fast IPS panel delivers a 1ms G2G response time specification with 0.3ms MPRT and a pixel density of 218 PPI. It covers 99% of the DCI-P3 and 100% of the sRGB colour spaces with 10-bit colour depth and comes factory calibrated to Delta E under 1. AOC has also incorporated an STW polarizer that maintains black depth and colour accuracy at wider viewing angles, similar to older A-TW polarizers used on previous IPS panels. The monitor supports adaptive sync and has been certified under NVIDIA's G-sync compatible scheme.
Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 2.1 port supporting 80Gbps UHBR20, a USB Type-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode and 65W power delivery, three USB Type-A ports, a USB Type-B port, a headphone jack, and two 5W speakers. The monitor also includes a built-in KVM switch and PiP/PbP support for managing multiple devices. Additional features include RGB ambient lighting through AOC's Light FX system, gaming-focused tools like dynamic crosshair and dark area control, and adjustable stand with full tilt, height, swivel, and rotate capabilities.
HDR support is limited to DisplayHDR 400 certification with peak brightness reaching 500 nits and no local dimming capabilities. The monitor is currently listed on the AOC China website, though pricing and availability details for other regions have not yet been announced.
